During The Detox

During The Detox

Just an update…

I found a new love. The day my detox started, I was out to ship off my magazines when I made a few wrongs turns and… BOOM! There it was…my local… LIBRARY! I knew I had to get a library card as fast as possible. I can’t believe it completely slipped my mind that I could’ve been going to a library instead of torturing myself with all of these books in my Amazon cart I couldn’t yet afford. If you haven’t been to your local library, I highly encourage you to check yours out. Share your experience in the comments!

Being in the library felt so nostalgic. It’s was almost like a vintage place to be considering they aren’t as popular as they were before the internet and ebooks. I was only able to check out two books my first time. I decided to sit there and read the first chapter of about 5 or 6 books. I ended up choosing my 2 favorites and taking those home. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I felt like a kid in a candy store as I sat there and read all the books.

I ended up choosing a book on Mediation and one on Yoga. “Unplug” and “50 Best Yoga Positions”

(My first library trip)

I used to love the library growing up. I loved reading. I loved a good book with a good storyline to keep me wanting more.  As I’ve gotten older the time I gave myself to sit and read has lessened. I finally started making myself read just about every day again. I love reading books about Health, Personal growth, and Spirituality. I also LOVE a good romance book.

(My second library trip)

I’ve become focused on personal growth and spirituality.  I found “Unplug” to be a really great read. I’ve been beginning to meditate – mostly every day now. I must say, it’s been worth adding to my daily routine. It’s like waking up in the morning and asking yourself…”Do you want to be a crazy witch or a peaceful goddess?” Okay, Meditate. This is my second book on meditation and this really kept my interest. The reason might have been because it was from the library, and I had to finish the book in 2 weeks. With my new library card, I plan to read a lot more. As I read, I will also review.

“Unplug”. Please go check out, rent, or buy this book. It’s so worth the read. Visit https://www.unplugmeditation.com/
